Grouping objects
In some cases, objects on your page are logically related to each other and should be treated as a single object. For example, if you have five rollover buttons in a row and you want them to stay aligned to each other, you should group them. Any two or more objects can be made into a group, but the objects must be on the same layer.

Tip: If you want to group objects that are on multiple layers, you can quickly move them all to one layer by clicking Cut on the Edit menu, and then selecting a layer in the Layers panel. You can then click Paste in Front on the Edit menu or click Paste in Back on the Edit menu. For more on these features, see Copy and Paste Objects. |
To group two or more objects together, select them, and then click Group on the Arrange menu (or press CTRL+G). To break up a group into individual objects again, select the group, and then click Ungroup on the Arrange menu (or press CTRL+SHIFT+G).
